Located in Milan, this compact 25 sqm apartment was designed as a refined first home for a young client.
Despite its limited footprint, the project maximizes every square metre through a carefully organized layout that creates a separate bedroom independent from the living area. Enclosed by an orange-tinted glass partition, the sleeping area becomes the defining feature of the apartment, providing privacy while preserving natural light and visual continuity throughout the interior.
A palette of dark custom joinery, light oak flooring, and vibrant color accents establishes a strong architectural identity, while integrated storage solutions and bespoke furniture enhance functionality and optimize the use of space. The interplay of materials, color, and light contributes to an interior that feels both open and intimate despite its compact dimensions.
Balancing efficiency with expression, the project demonstrates how compact living can be both highly practical and visually distinctive.
