Designed for Mercedes-Benz Bucharest Fashion Week 2026, the stage brings together the venue’s historic architecture with a contemporary spatial language.
Defined by a series of illuminated arches set within a monolithic volume, the intervention creates a precise yet soft presence within the space. These luminous openings are not only passages for the models, but also strong focal points that frame the runway experience and establish a clear visual identity for the event.
Minimal surfaces and a restrained material palette further emphasize the gesture, while light becomes the primary element shaping depth, rhythm, and atmosphere. In dialogue with the ornate architecture of the hall, the stage introduces a contemporary layer that is quiet yet absolute.
Built on the balance between structure and desire, discipline and flow, the project offers a controlled yet fluid spatial experience, creating a narrative that is both minimal and powerful, drawing the audience in.
